Suzzee started working at a young age as a child actress in Los Angeles, California, watching all aspects of the theater and film industry and zeroing in on the makeup department. She was always a very talented artist growing up. Majoring in art and design at UCLA, Suzzee secured a job as an art director for an entertainment Company after finishing college. She would collect makeup of all kinds over the years, not to wear but to play with for fun; trying one thing, then washing it off and trying another.

While working as an art director Suzzee was asked by a friend if she would assist her in doing makeup on a movie. Being artistic and having experience being on movie sets, she gave it a shot. Being around celebrities was second nature and from all the years of watching the great Makeup Artists of Hollywood she jumped in as if she had been doing Makeup for years. She grew to love caring for the stars and making them not only look good but feel better about themselves.

At the close of her first film she sought help from makeup greats she had watched as a child. Soon she had enough job offers to leave her Art Director job and start a new career making movies. Before she knew it she became a Makeup Supervisor on the lot of Universal Studios, Los Angeles. Over the years of working with just about every makeup line on the market, Suzzee decided to develop a line of her own. It would be easy to apply, controllable, with a color pallet that worked on a wide range of skin types, and most of all felt good and lasted long without any harsh ingredients.

TOON Makeup line was first brought to the set in 1994. It got such great reviews from the Actors and Makeup Artists she decided to make the line available to the consumer.
